Lee Hejmanowski is a trial lawyer with more than 30 years of experience who handles complex business and real estate litigation and select high-net-worth marital dissolutions.
Before forming Caldarelli Hejmanowski & Leer LLP, Lee was a partner at Seltzer Caplan McMahon Vitek, where he spent more than 18 years.
Experience
- Lee has tried dozens of cases in jury and bench trials in California and Nevada courts and has resolved disputes through negotiation, mediation, arbitration, and litigation involving evaporative salt works, aircraft leased to charter air services, water rights, and thoroughbred horse farms.
- Representative matters also include disputes involving Native American tribes’ sovereign immunity, trade secret claims among institutional asset managers, investment banks and municipal bankruptcy matters, and complicated real estate and hotel investment disputes.
- Additional litigation experience includes leases involving co-generation plants and sewer line failures, commercial loan disputes, residential and commercial real estate purchase contracts, and disputes among owners of closely held business entities investing in elder care facilities, restaurants, and rental properties.
- Lee has also handled disputes involving commercial insurance policies, easements, covenants running with the land, equitable servitudes, agencies coupled with an interest, convention contracts, construction disputes, accounting services, trust administration services, and high-net-worth marital dissolution proceedings.
